Accessibility Information

In creating this website we are attempting to conform to the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 1.0" » published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) »

These guidelines are widely regarded as the standard reference for creating accessible websites.

We have taken care to comply with each of the 14 Priority 1 guidelines in this document, and, where possible, the Priority 2 guidelines. For example, so that the site is accessible by users with vision impairment, all the textual (non-graphical) elements of the site are enlargeable, and meaningful textual equivalents have been provided for all of the graphical elements.

We also refer to the PAS 78 Guide "Guide to good practice in commissioning accessible websites" document published by the BSI British Standards body » in conjunction with the Disability Rights Commission (DRC) »

We have tested the accessibility of the site using automatic tools and human review. We have validated our XHTML and CSS code using the W3C validators:

If you have any comments or suggestions as to how we could improve the site and make it more accessible then please do contact us »
