Riding in London
There are many facilities for horse and pony riders with special needs, with 23 Riding for the Disabled (RDA) Groups in London.
There are already 1800 disabled riders (1400 under 19), supported by over 1000 volunteers who take advantage of the riding facilities available in the capital.
The Riding for the Disabled Association
Riding for the Disabled (RDA) is a highly successful and well-established charity.
It is a federation of member groups, which give people with special needs the opportunity to ride and interact with horses.
RDA groups enable people to improve their health and well being, delivering a real and lasting therapy that not only benefits mobility and co-ordination, but also encourages confidence and self-worth whilst having fun.
